DESCRIPTION

1990 Census blocks within the City of Cincinnati. This layer was originally created by Woolpert Consultants of Dayton, Ohio, as part of the data conversion project. Block boundaries conform to CAGIS street centerline or other base map features such as streams and therefore have much better spatial accuracy than the CENSUSTR layer which was based on the TIGER file. This layer was reworked by City Planning to establish polygon topology after migration to Arc/Info. PAT attribute item BLOCK and TRACT can be used as the key field to link to Census attribute files.
